The reason why I chose these lyrics is because they show us to work together as a team. There is no I in team therefore, when working together it is a group effort. As members of Sheltered Reality we can't do things alone to "Do the Impossible," we have to work together as a group to show that we can "Do the Impossible." So throughout this year lets show the world that we can "Do the Impossible!!!"
So what can you do at your school or work to show that working together makes a difference in lives?

ReplyDeleteYesterday, twenty-ish students from my school went to a local elementary school. We are volunteers that help run a program called Kids Against Hunger in our school and other local schools. We help the schools pack meals for Haiti using the money they raise. With our help, yesterday those elementary schoolers, parents, and teachers packed 58000 meals. Each one of those meals contains enough for about six people.
All those kids working together yesterday saved lives, and I hope they remember that when they get older and continue to do so.

We have groups at my school that do kinda what Sonja talked about. The two big ones are FCCLA and Interact club. We do soup kichens and a bunch of other things. I love doing things together because I think when you have more people, you help and empower more others.
FCCLA is the bomb! Just saying!! :))

ReplyDeleteThat's awesome Sonja! Unfortunately my school doesn't do anything like that, but my church does fish fries every other friday. We charge a little bit to offset the cost but to see how many people come just to eat on a friday. Now once you get your initial meal you may have as many extras as you want. Iyt is amazing how many people take very good advantage of it. :) in a good way though
