OK, I am going to do a 2nd one of these, I liked the first one, so I will now propose that the way it worked last time, is the way it will work from now on. Whomever is first to post here, gets to start the chain of what to talk about...that way you all can be thinking of the things you want to talk about and have some really FUN chains.
The other reason I am doing this today is that we are entering another busy period for about one week...there will NOT be much from me...I will at least get one good serious thing up, and the new chain story is coming too...along with Ben's member of the week questions for next week. I will get a new poll up today, and then, we will just play it by ear next week as we do a lot of shows across 4 states.

which country is best (NOT including USA), worst tragedies (i am still sad about the Georgian luger...), best performances, etc.
I haven't watched ANY of the winter olympics this year!!! But I must say my favorite winter sport is curling! I don't understand it, but that's why I like it. It is a challenge to understand it. My favorite summer sport is the pairs beach volleyball. I tend to be really tough on them though, with how involved I have been with volleyball since 4th grade.

all i have watched was hockey and the snowboarding. i love hockey and i think canada is the best hockey country around! i mean c'mon they had sydney crosby on the ice! nobody is going to him!

Scott "Scooter" Urban- I wish we got to make it out of Popsicle sticks and sugar cubes!!!! I would have sooo much fun with that!! XD lol But.. I had to make a "Dream house", then locate it in one of the German speaking countries. (that was the fun part) Then we had to get a window picture and the was kind of weird. Then we had to write 10 sentences in German about that. Then... We had to list twenty-five different pieces of furniture and or appliances in our house and write two sentences about five rooms... THEN..we had to write 10 sentences about what’s around our "dream house". Next write a short story about their experience at a local festival and that has to be twenty-five sentences. Then Finally write an overview of a typical day for someone living in the house. A minimum of ten-sentences. Soo yeah... I like my "Dream House" tho ^_^ But that my crazy project.

ReplyDeleteI like ice dancing the best. It's artistic and it tells a story.
In the summer I like gymnastics and diving because the routines are different.
I also make an attempt to watch Olympic archery on YouTube, since I'm an amateur archer myself, but I'll admit that archery's not much of a spectator sport. It's fun though.

Heidi- I know. the mega practice is so much fun but its alot of work :) its i think 6 and a half hours or 7 i cant remember :) haha but the only breaks you get are 7 minutes each and there are only three...if your lucky...

ReplyDeleteEveryone who's talking about Twilight - Yea I think it's oay :)) The second movie was so much better than the first one (: Finland went _crazy_ over Twilight! lol
Wow! Random is right! Let's see, ice cream is cold and so are the New Moon vampires. So they could conceivably fit right in with the Winter Olympics. Maybe we should suggest ice cream eating and running up trees as new sports. Just doing my part to try to put this all together. Order out of chaos, and all.

ReplyDeleteColleen-this is very random. but yeah.lol I was going to watch the video of the last prac. with steve and jordan and i put it in the DVD and it said there was nothing on the CD. I dont know what to do lol.
I haven't even seen Twilight or read the books. So I can contribute nothing to that conversation.
