In case you missed here...here are the things for you to focus on while I drive like mad this week :)
1. You get to ask me a question about SR...anything you have always wanted to know about it...from the 14 year history. OR if that is not what triggers good questions, then think about it this way...what would you like to know about 14 years of SR that would make you love it even more than you do? There is a good question for you all!! :)
2. Keep working on the chain story and refining how you all learn to write together from far apart. I am going to post the next one of the story starters soon...but make it more about SR...only so you all can then pratice writing about SR...prior to starting working on the "chain book".
3. Work on the FB project and now that Ben figured out how to remove pages, get those other ones down please! YAAY...sooner the better on that!
4. Finally, update each other on how you are doing on your Tick Tock beats and what speed you are up to...I would like to hear about that myself!
Dee and I decided someone needs to comment so here we go! I'm doing pretty well with the tick tock beat. I haven't really had time to work on it since the Sutherland show but I'm at 11 on the 2009 beat accelerator I think. How is it going for the rest of you?????
ReplyDeleteSteve-Got some of the pages down today. Also I deleated the page and recreated it with the change that we talked about last month. I'm also going to try out something with the answers on my blog and I will let you know if it works out for me since I'm on blogspot as well. We will get it to work so we can keep the pretty colors! ;)

ReplyDeleteSo I LoVe the Tick Tock beat sooooo much! I think it is fun and crazy and I can't wait to learn the whole song! I'm pumped! I'm soooo excited! I have a feeling that is going to be amazingly crazy! But anyhow :) I can go up to 15 on the Beat Acc. I want to get to 18. That is my favorite song ever on that CD. :) That is my goal until I get to it...then I'll move it up again. Woot!
Okay so what I atempted with the blog failed. Sorry Steve, I will keep trying though!

ReplyDeleteQuestion. Did you ever think SR would get this big when you started? AND....how big would you like it to get? How many sites, how many drummers?
ReplyDeleteI cannot think of any good questions to ask you Steve about SR. I guess I could ask one question, but is the show SR is doing on the 27th of February the same mall that you played at the beginning of SR? If so, do you think the reaction will be better at the mall? And has SR played at any interesting places in small towns when you had the singers and stuff?

Im scared to see the "Tick Tock" beat. If i just end up standing there at Mt. Rushmore just starting at someone doing it then someone needs to help me cause that means i DONT understand it. Im kinda scared to do it. I have seen the video for it on Youtube but honestly I cant play it on my own down here. Someone come teach me before Mt. Rushmore!!!!

Alex- LoL thanks it took me awhile but I got it! Its very fun! I havn't had time to practice either. but I think I am to day. I don't think we are going to have drum practice today. I hope we don't have school tomorrow. that would be awesome! :D

Im going to die at Mt. Rushmore!!! Steve made that beat to make me work harder at Mt. Rushmore...Weather he will admit it or not thats why he made it.
